When Tim and I moved to Washington I had to give up my job. I expected to look for another when he reported to his command here, but once we began to settle in we started talking about having a family instead.
We were so blessed & I became pregnant as soon as we started trying! I took the positive test on July 14, 2012 & needless to say, we were thrilled and nervous to jump straight into parenthood. We were fortunate enough that my parents & Tim's mom were able to make trips up to see us during my first trimester and we told each of them in person!
I wanted to take pictures to remember the pregnancy by and took one every other week with a little caption about what was going on that week. I missed week 22 (but did find out the sex that week!) and Grayson was born at 36 weeks. Pregnancy was not exactly what I was expecting, I was very sick from week 6 to week 15 and continued to have bouts of nausea and vomiting for the entire pregnancy. I also ended up with a severe case of heartburn for the second half, but it was worth it because Grayson arrived with lots of hair! By the time Grayson was born I was SO ready for him to be here, but I am already excited to do it again for our next baby.
